Gabrien Clark has Been Accepted to the
Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science
Congratulations to Gabrien Clark on his acceptance to the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science housed on the University of North Texas Campus. Acceptance at TAMS is competitive with only 200 students selected a year from every region of the Texas, and from public and private schools of every size.
Students in this two-year program complete a rigorous academic curriculum of college coursework at the University of North Texas (UNT) with instruction is by regular university faculty.

BASEBALL AREA SERIES
The Farmers Baseball team defeated Pottsboro in BiDistrict playoffs 12-6 and 9-8. The area series against Palmer will be played at Plano Sr High School.
Game 1: Thursday, May 8 at 7:30pm
Game 2: Friday, May 9 at 7:30pm
Game 3: Saturday, May 10 at Noon if necessary

Taylon Chandler took 4th place in state Journalism competition.
REGIONAL TRACK COMPETITION
Charla Craddock finished 6th in the triple jump, 4th in long jump, 4th in the 100 meter dash, and 3rd in the 400 meter dash.
Courtni Torrez, Gabby Clark, Lauren Helms, and Charla Craddock finished 4th in the 4x100.
Jared Helmberger took 6th Place in the 110 hurdles
Quincy Roberts took 6th Place in shotput
Shelby Eaves took 8th Place in the 800 meter run
