Immunization Requirements

The Following Health Clinics in the Farmersville ISD district offer the Influenza Vaccine:

Health Policies

The following policies have been adopted to ensure that elementary school, middle school, and junior high school students engage in at least 30 minutes per day or 135 minutes per school week of physical activity:

The District's health school advisory council met once during the preceding year (1/8/07) and is scheduled to meet once during the current year (1/18/2008)

Meeting January 18, 2008 at 10:30 in administration conference room.

Elected a chairperson: Mr. Scott Knight was elected as the chairperson.
Elect a secretary: Kathy Williams was elected as the secretary.
Training for teachers on blood borne pathogens. Set times and date and May meeting.
Health check for each campus done now till may and report on needs.
Establish policy for fever and lice and other concerns in May to take to school board.
