Our District
Farmersville ISD traces its lineage to Looney-Dowlin Academy which was founded circa 1850. In 1894, an eight room-two story brick building was built for education. Today Farmersville ISD has four campuses including a new High School which was added in 2000 and a new Intermediate School added in 2006.
Farmersville ISD has approximately 200 employees and serves 1,483 students. The boundaries of FISD cover 89 square miles.
Farmersville is in Conference 2A Region 2 District 13 with Anna, Aubrey, Blue Ridge, Krum, Leonard, Melissa, and Ponder.
Farmersville ISD will be in Conference 3A Region 2 District 13 for the 2008-2010 academic school years. Emory Rains, Lucas Lovejoy, Nevada Community, Princeton, and Quinlan Ford are also in District 13.
